My issue isn’t with giving her that platform. What happened to her husband is a tragedy, and she should get more attention. My issue is with Van Jones describing Trump’s comments as a historic moment, or what makes Trump presidential.
I don’t see an issue with giving a very recent Navy widow a moment of national attention. Of course it’s political, that’s the point. I just don’t have a problem with recognizing her husband’s sacrifice even if it was at the behest of a habanero charlatan.

I think her show is hilarious but when I saw her live doing stand up her material was so relentlessly brutal towards herself it was uncomfortable even to my girlfriend. I almost felt bad for her.
