@GåßëÊdwå®d§ - In honor of skay¢og's migrating slash...: If they're no failsafe systems (hardware or software) and everything runs into the same microprocessor, if that microprocessor goes into an infinite loop, it's going to produce a certain combination of logic outputs while completely ignoring any logic inputs.

I was very excited to hear this until I saw the price. WTF??? How about chopping $5k off the price, and giving it to us as a normally equipped Honda and not a luxury brand?

Just getting this thing running was quite the impressive achievement!

@Novaload: I'm sure he's got a closet full of those too!!!!!

Is it me, or does this seem to happen an awful lot? (Especially to the politicians and TV evangelists who continuously spout vehemently anti-gay rhetoric).

It might scream "Screw You, I'm Filthy Rich!" but it also screams "Hey, look at me...I have no taste whatsoever!"

If I ever decide to become a pimp or a rap star, I'll keep the Blingmobile in mind.

Hmm, a modern 92 shaped mini-fighter? Why, that sounds kind of odd looking yet practical.

Magnifique! I'm weird, and I love Citroens. I also love wagons, so there's deux reasons..and the diesel makes trois..and the manual transmission makes quatre.

@Ford Tempo Fanatic: If I remember right, my 86 ate tie-rod ends, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was merely a function of the TRX suspension and very aggressive tires. Plus, I was 21 at the time, so I drove it pretty hard.

@Ford Tempo Fanatic: I think they (Tempos and Topazzes(?)) were great cars made out of not so great factory parts. Ford had some quality control issues in the 80's. After the Topaz, I had a 91 Escort and I was amazed that it only broke down maybe once a year..or even less. The engine and tranny on the Topaz were

@Ford Tempo Fanatic: Well, the Topaz and I got off to a rocky start. I bought it when it was two years old (1988) with 28,000 miles on the clock for the princely sum of $5000. For the first 2 or 3 years I owned it, it was in and out of the shop on a regular basis (clutch, suspension parts, computer sensor, you name

@brandegee: Those were the factory TRX rims, which only fit Michelin TRX tires and nothing else. Nothing says "captive market" like making an entirely unique metric size rim that only your brand of tires will fit (something like P185R365..where the "365" meant 365 millimeters).

FTF, this one's for you! My college car, a 1986 Topaz GS, 5-speed, 2.3 HO, and TRX suspension (photo circa 1989).

Sweet. Everything I owned as a kid had at least one Wacky Packages sticker on it. Now I can relive my childhood!

Seeya later alligator...in a while crocodile.....

They could have just bought one on Ebay. It's already in Canada..they could have just driven it to Calgary!

No.

I must say, I'm genuinely conflicted. I swoon over Darts and Valiants, lust over wagons and love the distinctive staccato symphony of a slant-six at full cry, and even learned to drive in a Volare.
