As far as pink haired anime girls go, zero two is among the more striking characters.

As someone else pointed it out, there's several "dancing Zero Two" gifs that went viral getting paired with music or being recreated in tiktok.   Most people slapping her on cars are either Giant Weebs, or just on TikTok too much and only know her from that.

Also, while I enjoyed season 1, it definitely had some very rough edges. When season two proved those rough edges were only gonna get rougher, I checked out.

I mean, even before the whole Cavill kerfuffle, S2 fell off a cliff. I’m not sure a ton more explanation is needed than that. I liked S1 more than I expected, thought S2 started really strong but got so much worse throughout that by the season finale I had more or less written the series off, barring some sort of

A few days ago i commented on some guide article about how this website sure has changed and someone replied “elaborate”. And well... now this happened.

I was just thinking last when reading an article of yours last week, “Luke’s still here.” But damn, I guess it truly is the end of an era for Kotaku now. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Every time you guys post that 2015 photo it hits me with nostalgia. Good luck Luke, thanks for all your great articles.

Luke! One of the Kotaku OGs. It’s been a pleasure, and best of luck in your future endeavors.

I sometimes say “pour one out for a Real One” but damn man, you were a REAL Real One. As someone who has been reading the site since the Dark Times of “Gabe Sightings”, every one of these farewell posts from those in the photo has stung, but this one especially.

Loved the writing, loved the shitposting, loved the art/c

Waypoint shut down, All of Giant Bomb’s original folks moved on, now the last of the oldschool Kotaku writers leaves the site. I know that most of these folks have other projects ongoing, but it does seem like a lot of my old standard bookmarks aren’t what they used to be, for better or worse.

This story just kinda bums me out.

Goddamn that sounds terrible.

It’s a weird game. There’s a lot of cool scifi/dystopian worldbuilding, buried under dull tropes and broad humour. I can easily see an adaptation improving on the source material, let alone working at all.

This movie’s plot as released lionsgate:

You know what, if the studio wants to just shitcan this thing as a tax write-off or something, I think I’m willing to look the other way just this once.

I dunno, the story is great in FFT but I think the main reason people love it is the gameplay system (way more than something like FF7 or any other RPG of the time). Seems kinda like a remake that strips out the gameplay is missing the point.

I always assumed the customization aspect alone would keep people from trying to flip these. The whole appeal is that RR will do basically whatever you want when you buy a new one, and then the resale absolutely tanks after that. Why would you pay over sticker for one you didn’t get to customize? Makes no sense to me.

“We will refrain from sharing information about new titles, but we are considering various ideas within the Company and hope that you will look forward to forthcoming announcements,” the company stated.

Wyll being rewritten, I think. A lot of romantic investment in their character.

Yo where’s Drizzt
