It feels like a lot of folks positing that this game will be relegated to delivering its lore through walls of text, which ironically, would be deeply faithful to the original trilogy.

It’s like having a board game manufacturer that expects that EVERY player has his own “copy” of the game itself before playing.

While I’m also a fan of “co-ed” leagues/tournaments, I still think there's a place for tournaments like this. It can be a good way to try and pull in fans and players of a specific group that may not otherwise be willing to engage with the larger community for various reasons.

The rumor I heard is they are going to refurbish it into an interactive “experience” area for guests to enjoy. It will have a couple places to eat, some arcade games and I heard they were gonna adapt part of it into escape room style experiences.   Just no more logistic of having to be an actual hotel and staffed 24x7

The sad thing is, this is very much a failure of implementation. They spent so much money on actors and plotlines, and missed a whole slew of critical things:
