It feels like a lot of folks positing that this game will be relegated to delivering its lore through walls of text, which ironically, would be deeply faithful to the original trilogy.

I still have all of those class guides from Second Edition. They’re in storage at my mother’s, along with all my 1st ed and 3rd/3.5 ed books. Need a house to get all of those down here. Yes, I have them all.
Hey, so, it’s already bad enough that the teaser was literally only a massive spoiler, but you’ve also gone and just put it in the title. Come on. What is anyone thinking here?
WAIT, A NEW MARATHON?!?!? IS BUNGIE FINALLY GOING TO MAKE GREAT SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGNS AG...
Obviously we don’t know anything about the game but damn do I love that Art style/design!
I forgot all about the class guides.
It’s like having a board game manufacturer that expects that EVERY player has his own “copy” of the game itself before playing.
that’s an issue Wizards of the Coast has highlighted as a sore spot for them, expressing a desire in 2022 to try and find more ways to monetize the hobby, hoping to generate “the type of recurrent spending you see in [video games].”
While I’m also a fan of “co-ed” leagues/tournaments, I still think there's a place for tournaments like this. It can be a good way to try and pull in fans and players of a specific group that may not otherwise be willing to engage with the larger community for various reasons.
Because esports is historically, and remains, hostile to women. They are starting off in a more difficult situation by default just by virtue of being women, so putting them in with men in a male-dominated field would not be intrinsically fair, at least not until the world changes in order to be more fair to women,…
Hey, that’s not fair! It wasn’t just a poorly designed game. Lots of poorly designed games do great sales numbers.
It was an interesting idea but it was pretty much doomed from the start since it was a poorly designed game (your actions were meaningless, you could miss cool stuff, and unless you chose to be on the light side you would always lose) and they ended up writing themselves into a corner by having it directly tied to the…
The rumor I heard is they are going to refurbish it into an interactive “experience” area for guests to enjoy. It will have a couple places to eat, some arcade games and I heard they were gonna adapt part of it into escape room style experiences. Just no more logistic of having to be an actual hotel and staffed 24x7
The sad thing is, this is very much a failure of implementation. They spent so much money on actors and plotlines, and missed a whole slew of critical things:
I always really, really wanted to go to this. I had a friend who was lucky enough to make the trip and had nothing but good things to say about. But I live on the west coast, and there was no way I was going to travel all the way to Florida for it.
I have a bunch. The Prime, Megatron and Cobra Commander aren’t Hasbro, but the rest are. The quality from that older Boba Fett and Commander Rex helmets has improved by leaps and bounds over the years.
No kidding? I didn’t realize. Well there ya go.
I only own one thing from Hasbro’s Role Play line and that’s the Captain America shield. That thing is pretty dang fantastic and even though I keep it on my wall at all times, it’s well built and has some heft. I think they hit a very sweet price point at $100 for items like these that can be used as display and…
I never realized it until now but it looks like Magneto just spray painted a samurai helmet.
