What platform do you play on?
I was really pleased with that. It was lovely, and the new area is awesome.
A great, quick primer. Thanks for posting this; maybe it’ll help me loop my dad back in.
How’s the levelling system now? I was Not a Fan in the last two games, especially when it came to assassination.
Thanks for reporting on these closures. I’ve been lucky enough to visit in the past, and I’m glad I took my sister before the pandemic hit; I’m betting that, in addition to the large closures, the smaller businesses have been hit hard as well. I hope the area recovers.
Resident Evil, but not because of the game itself. I was babysitting at a relative stranger’s house, alone and in the dark, and I had to stop playing because the situation meant I couldn’t afford to do things like scream when something jumped out at me.
Final Fantasy 8 was my first “real” JRPG. I put a ton of hours into that thing and I’d just made it to the last disk.
We have one of these and have used it for a few movie nights here in the Plague Era. We got it to do movie nights with my parents without anything resembling physical interaction. Here’s my two cents:

The nespresso machine is back up to 185.

I sure hope there’s regulation in place to keep this from being an easy way to exploit workers in other countries and cut out local workers who need these entry-level jobs.
The hills around my city are on fire (again), with the accompanying air quality warnings and evacuations. We’re finally approaching the end of a week-long 105F heat wave, but highs won’t drop below 100F for another week. we’ve had rolling blackouts for the last few days, but those appear to have backed off at this…
It’s still my favorite game to read about. Thanks for the article!
There have been a few over the years, but the one that stands out for me is more recent: Space Base: DF9. It was *exactly* the game I wanted to play, with good art, fun writing, and systems that really scratched my sim itch perfectly. It was being produced by a relatively well-established studio.
I’m going to sit down and figure out which pieces of this armor are worth the grind for me. I’m certainly not doing whichever piece requires Trials, because I hate PvP on the best of days.
I... I just... when I think I have a handle on how disconnected these people are, I read something like this and lose my ability to produce coherent sentences. Ye gods and little fishes.
Seems like it could be a great backup device. Is it locked to the Visible network, or can I get an unlocked version?

No Man’s Sky players across all platforms will be able to group up and take on missions together. Areas with random multiplayer interactions will draw players from all platforms.
Oh, there are plenty of good reasons for them to do some archiving. Some of them I even agree with. But I think this measure is entirely too aggressive. My issue here isn’t with cycling old content in general, but Destiny is about to be a lot smaller and less alien, and that’s a bummer.
I think you need to wait to see how everything else is implemented and how they make the game deeper rather than broader before you come to that conclusion.
