I’m certainly making the most of my lunch breaks to slowly but surely make progress, so playing the SNES virtual console copy on 3ds works for me.

Ah I see. I definitely noticed that during the first class trial, but I was hoping that would just be because it’s the “tutorial”. I’ll probably still enjoy the rest of the game, but I’ll have my open hands ready for some facepalming.

I don’t know what the game is like or if the game changes beyond Chapter 1, but I imagine that the investigation parts will probably get harder and maybe more tedious. 

I’ve been slowly getting through FF6 on the 3DS, mostly 30 minutes at a time on my lunch breaks. The opera house was a lot of fun, and now I’m somewhat lost after flying to the next continent.

Very cool. I played through Ishin a long while back and enjoyed it a lot. Funnily enough Ishin was one of the first games I played, so I had a really weird feeling of dejavu when I played the main series, not knowing those characters came from those games lol.

In terms of stopping this game from becoming everything, the thing I’m doing right now is literally not play it. If I don’t see it, it doesn’t exist. Ignorance is bliss.

Kinda wished the Switch version had something like this. It was a fun game nonetheless, but there was something off about the polygons being super sharp and the backgrounds being super pixelated.

I was under the impression the main problem with bluetooth was latency. Not that sound quality is perfect on bluetooth, but it’s practically good enough that I don’t miss using a wired headset. Adding the volume dial controls they have had on the Surface headphones is very nice for a relatively cheap wireless headset. If the sound is good and mix adjustment works well enough on PC, I’d absolutely consider buying a pair.

Nah, it’s just the loot lol. It makes the game more competitive than I’d like it to be.

Never had a partner, but Borderlands is one that I couldn’t continue playing because I hate sharing loot with friends lol. Thank god Borderlands 3 has a everyone-gets-their-own-shit co-op mode.

Would be more accurate to say that they didn’t release a new game in 2020. I would assume they’ve spent most of 2020 developing the DLC and working on the projects you mentioned at the end.

On the last mission of Doom Eternal. I’ve collected most of the trinkets and whatnot as well, so I’ll be doing some of the other extra stuff afterward to get the plat.

Not surprised, considering... everything. I did contemplate getting the PS4 version when it was nearly half off because I kinda love-hate glitchy games, but I’m in the middle of a game diet to reduce my backlog so I gave up on that. I am curious if they can even salvage the game for base consoles...
