JP users are getting Void Terrarium (or maybe better known as void tRrLM(); lol) instead of Ark. It’ll be both PS4 and PS5, so that’s neat.

I stopped playing Yugioh almost 15 years ago, basically because even as a child, I was aware of how much money it took to get good cards from booster packs. It’s basically gambling the way I see it. Now that this game mostly doesn’t require money (though like any free-to-play game, they do try to push you into

Danganronpa on Switch is exciting. I played through the games earlier this year, so I’m mainly getting it for the limited edition physical copy. It’ll be fun when I revisit the series after forgetting most of the story, which to be honest could be as soon as next year lol.

I’ve never bought it before, but I can sorta get why people would want to always buy the new one every year if they can dance to their favorite songs. It makes more sense to me than roster updates in sports games anyway :P

As far as I’m aware, Japanese dates are written out as YYYY/MM/DD, so 8/9 as August 9th would be correct.

Not necessarily a misspelling, as tsu and tu are just different romanizations of the same character.

I think Sony’s been selling them directly from their site since launch. Iirc, there was a similar signup to this one last year and I personally got my invite to buy one at around August.

Specifically for the Japanese PSN store (and wherever else this is a thing), it will be impossible to buy CERO-Z games because you need to use a credit card as “proof” of being an adult. Which is poop.

I imagine it might be possible for them to just simply replace kimutaku with another actor, as they have some precedent for just completely replacing their characters’ likenesses and voices... though perhaps that might be impossible to do when it’s the literal main character on the box art

Are you playing Voxelgram with a controller? I remember seeing it in the eShop and thinking that it would be weird without a stylus.

A new Picross is pretty cool (even if I have no nostalgia for Sega). I'm still a bit busy with other games like ace attorney tho, so this will be wishlisted for now...

I wonder how the original Japanese version compares to the localization when it comes anti-Asian/Japanese hate. In my first playthrough way back when, I do remember characters differentiating themselves by race to make a point, but I can’t quite recall how biting they were. Stuff referring to smallness and islands is

If one simply must 100% the game on Steam there is but one solution available —hack the game.

The games are excellent! I especially appreciate that the games are bundled because I remember being somewhat annoyed that the first game on 3DS ends on something of a cliffhanger. The wait between the first and second game felt very very long...

Metal Slug was a genuine WTF (in a good way) surprise, even if I honestly don’t care about the tactics game itself. It really just made me crave some MS3.

It looks really great! It’s like a next-gen HD-2D. Hope the gameplay is just as good.

Wow 20 years!

Picross S5. I’ve been going through my CD collection recently and I can comfortably do both simultaneously and not have to worry about pausing one or the other for fear of missing something like plot or whatever.

I personally keep a small journal and a pen on the coffee table because I find it the quickest way to jot down something in a game. It’s also easier to draw more freeform stuff, like diagrams or drawings.

This trailer (esp the music) makes me want to revisit one of the older games...
