My Switch is a near launch model (I think April 2017?) and I’m up for upgrading to the Pro whenever they inevitably release a limited edition model. Or if nothing interests me, I’ll probably just open it up and swap out the battery.

I don’t play these on a consistent or annual basis, but these are my go-to comfort food games:

All in all, sounds like a good problem to have lol.

It’s a downgrade compared to the other platforms, but it’s still fun overall. Gameplay is mostly intact, but if you’re sensitive to the framerate dropping below 30, you’ll definitely notice that happen relatively often. I found the game to be pretty good in both handheld and TV modes.

I got Doom Eternal recently, but I want to finish my 5th run of Doom 2016 before that. First 3 were on PS4 for the plat, 4th on the Switch for the lulz, and 5th on the PC for dat framerate. I gotta say, I’m still fully entertained slaying demons even on this run.

It’s pretty common for flash games and emulators iirc. I haven’t played either in a while though, so it did trip me up a bit =P

Ah shit, yeah that was this week too lol

Looking forward to either seeing someone put this in a photoshop or it being the main topic for the next photoshop contest lol.

Yeah, I’m just thinking that it’s been more of a recent trend to relatively frequently raise the price of subscriptions by small increments, and Microsoft and Sony (and maybe Nintendo) might do something similar

I liked it, but it didn’t impact me as it has others.

Finishing up Ghost of Tsushima’s side quests to get another plat. I honestly enjoyed Norio’s and Masako’s side stories more than Jin’s main story.

It’s certainly gonna be a shock 3 years later though, when the price will almost certainly be higher than it is now =P

Ah oops, I missed that. Sorry!

Kinda surprised you never ran into them before 200 hrs. I think I played a solid 50 hrs or so at launch and definitely remember those things running around and flanking me while I was in cover lol.

I saw a portion of a certain 6 hour review of Tokimeki Memorial on YouTube and decided to stop in the middle so that I could dust off my Vita to play the PS1 version. It’s weird finally getting to play a game that I think has been referenced many times in other games, anime, and manga for its dating sim elements and/or

Not hunting monsters, but I am hunting Mongols and the occasional bandit in Ghost of Tsushima. I started playing on Legend because it sounded like a cool samurai experience but eventually put it down to Normal because it makes dealing with multiple enemies at once actually doable. The stealth is decent, but I find

I wonder if it would help to make a cheaper (or free) app that’s only for playing player created content.

Looking forward to stories decades later of random Goku figures appearing on shore.

I wonder if the redesign will actually fix the app itself. I’ve tried the Funimation app on several devices a while back and the experience is pretty awful. Even basic things like items in my digital library being inexplicably inaccessible.

I find that I tend to speed through dialogue because I think that I’ve read everything I need to, only to sometimes step away and realize that I have no recollection of what I just read. Thank god some games have a dialogue logs lol
