Finished Stick it to the Man earlier this week and playing their next game Flipping Death. Both games are pretty good, aside from weird controls and physics. Artwork is definitely charming.

Yeah, it really sucks that Control is getting this kind of attention only because of 505.

Yeah, it occurs to me that I’ve only really talk about Picross with Japanese friends, where PEE-cross (or PIKUROSU) is much closer to the JP pronunciation. PIH-cross is definitely much more natural in English.

That’s definitely one I want to get to at some point (maybe after getting over my current obsession, Hades).

No need to send help. Just accept the warm and loving embrace of the swamp that is Picross. There are many many versions of it on the Switch and 3DS in case you want to go deeper.

That’s because you needed 6 more packs in an enclosed space with a camera on hand.

It certainly got some lulz from me =P

I genuinely love these sorts of things, especially when you can push them far far away from their original position. Random shit like boxes, balls, traffic cones lol.

Lol, this is pretty hilarious (aside from the fire hazard). Just why though? Did he want to inhale a lot of second-hand smoke? I imagine the video he was filming would just be grey.

Yay for 2SA!

Very cool.

Gonna finish the Luigi-side of Super Mario Galaxy, and then if I have time, put in more rounds in Hades.

I vaguely remembered reading something about Platinums being “redeemable” in Sony Rewards a while back. Not sure if it’s a thing now though.

I wonder if the point is to feel like you’re constantly leveling up, as opposed to the slow grind you end up in, even if in reality reaching the max level of either system will basically take the same amount of EXP.

Hades, with a dash of Super Mario 35 maybe. I’m hoping to get past Elysium this weekend.

Sounds like it's very inspired by Prelude. (If not a copy but the chords are changed enough so that it sounds like a homage)

I don’t really have any problems with SM64, but that probably has to do with me also playing it many many times and already being used to that jank =P

It’s mostly the physics. Infamous stuff like the pachinko level or the watermelon one to moving things like the tilting sand bird or the rotating cubes/logs in those FLUDD-less levels. I recently cleared up Noki Bay and found the underwater sections all sorts of weird to control.

Working to complete Mario Sunshine this weekend. It’s a great nostalgic trip of a game, but god, it has way more jank than I remembered.

Of course it’s so easy to “forget”.
