This happens so often that the only thing that makes sense is that there is a wypipo plot to keep black people from winning gold medals at the Olympics in the swimming events.

Good. The only way to prevent this from happening is to buy all the vehicles and keep them. They need you, David [”Arms of an Angel” plays]

It was razorbeamteam who discovered it and posted about it on Oppositelock. I asked him where it was located, and it happened to be at the junkyard that is by far the closest one to my home. I had to go see it.  This is actually how I spent the afternoon of my birthday :)

You know a website has built a community when on a hunt through a junkyard TWO separate people ID and document the former vehicle of a site contributor.

As a Volvo nut, I must mention Robert of Robert DIY:

Been following Rich Rebuilds (or “Uncle Rich”, as the fans call him) for years. He’s the absolute wizard when it comes to salvage Teslas, and his Ford rat rod build with a drivetrain from a Zero electric motorcycle was awesome as well.

Great list! One more person I’d add is Ken Panton. If you see a luxury car anywhere between NYC and the Hamptons with a chic-looking Black man behind the wheel, it’s probably him. And he is the first Black American juror on the World Car Awards, the only Black juror among leading automotive awards organizations.

You forgot about T-Pain. I’m pretty sure he’s done making music... now he’s building an E46 M3 drift car!

That was incredible, I had to watch the whole half hour.

Awesome list. I genuinely didn’t know a lot of the names on here, but now I can read up on them!

Love Rich Rebuilds, another good black automotive youtube guy is Robert DIY, if you like P80 Volvos, this guy has you covered. (Also does other cars)

I would like to add RonsRides on YouTube. A channel dedicated to Alfa Romeo and Maserati, which really in depth showcases of those 2 Italian brands. I you want to check those cars RonsRides will give you the most detailed descriptions of Alfas and Masers

Both Ed Welburn and Ralph Giles are definitive proof that brilliance has no color.

BST Ford does some cool stuff. He has a 5 speed swapped turbo Crown Vic with a Subaru TMIC he’s currently building and if that’s not Jalop, I don’t know what is.

I still remember Robb Holland’s awesome series about turning a street Volvo into a touring car.

Rich Rebuilds is fucking awesome. The builds/rebuilds and the twisted sense of humor is top notch.

How about Cliff Vaughs and Ben Hardy...the guys who built the bikes used in Easy Rider?

Ed Welburn!  One of the best designers GM ever had. I actually got to meet him at GM once. Very easygoing guy who knew his shit. Great guy.

Rich Rebuilds has the funniest narration on automotive youtube. The guy is f’ing hilarious!
