I think there was one four or five years ago. We're certainly due for another though!

Minivan is a strong contender for the title, but hatchbacks beat it in the economical commuter category and they're a complete no-show in the fun/sporty category
I agree wholeheartedly with your take. However, I would be a poor excuse for a rally professional if I didn’t point out that people can (and do) rally all the things.
There’s no one vehicle in existence that covers 100% of situations 100% of the time. But I think Elizabeth is dead on that hatchbacks can handle more of those situations than any other single vehicle.
Saw your comment and did the same. Personally it’s not my kind of music, but I can’t deny dude’s got a good singing voice.
Just for funsies I did the math on what the lap time would have to be to average 160, a 4:50.25 would do it. That’s a ludicrous time, but I can’t deny the possibility of it happening someday feels more possible now than it did 24 hours ago
In my imaginary unlimited series the manufacturers wouldn’t have any say as to where the cap is, thus keeping it “attainable” for the privateers, but if four manufacturers are willing to agree to a cap and commit to the series, instead of just the one we have now, well I'm okay with that too.
CO-DRIVER MATH FTW!
Depends on the discipline, which is why I left off the additional X, but for prototype racing I absolutely agree.
I can fix that:
160? My math came to 145. 12.9 miles divided by 5.3258 minutes is 2.422 miles per minute. Multiply that by 60 and you get 145.33 mph
Having done this search a few times, the armrest only shows up as a Toyota part, there is no Subaru equivalent, and it’s not something you can order from the dealer, you have to get it and install it on your own, most dealerships will refuse to do the work if you bring it in. Also, it’s hinged to allow access to the…
Mt Washington says hi
I wasn’t the only one!
I wish we got trucks on the stages here in the States. My friend co-drove one in Tallinna Rally in 2006 and he still talks about how much fun it was
Those old Soviet Gaz trucks are surprisingly popular rally vehicles in Eastern Europe
I’ve been using these since I was a small kid in the early 90's. Nothing like coming in with a vanload a few times a year (or after a big party) and after an hour of shoving cans and bottles into the machine (and usually a couple calls to management to let them know the bin in the machine was full) leaving with $70.
Co-driver for another team
I do. It’s an old S2000 car (chassis #12) and has been competing since 2010. It was fitted with a turbo in 2014 for the BTRDA Championship. Bonus fun fact, Ott Tanak finished second in the SWRC with this car in 2011
It’s not an R5, but Barry definitely gave it the full send
