Not any more (not in the States anyway). Ford sold about 2.5 million cars last year in the U.S, Subaru sold 600k. They’re not nearly in the same league, but for Subaru to be even at a quarter of Ford’s volume is impressive, especially when their brand has such a narrow vehicle range by comparison.

Co-drove this flat-6-swapped Porsche 912 at Oregon Trail Rally in 2014. At one point we had a small off that was nearly a veery big crash with a veery big tree.
Back in ‘09 we rented a Dodge Nitro and a Grand Caravan in Vegas and used them as chase vehicles for the Vegas to Reno desert race (which was a three day event that year). Not sure about the Caravan because I wasn’t in it, but we sent the Nitro airborne a few times when we hit solid objects buried in some of the silt…

Navigator. The screen in front of him is a marine gps with the course map on it. He lets the driver know about any upcoming curves, dangers, etc. Unfortunately some dangers aren’t included in the map file
