It was worse than it looks in the photos. It took a couple hydraulic rams and multiple hammers to get the back end back into shape.

I really hope they work on it and don’t just bail. It wasn’t that long ago that Argentina had some serious spectator issues as well (though admittedly I don’t recall driving on hot stages being among them). The WRC worked hard with organizers to improve safety there and now it’s fantastically managed.

I’d say you’ll certainty at least understand why some people have such a sense of accomplishment from it.
