Corolla WRC in America you say?
Dat winter test vid doe. I’m putting Latvala on my Fantasy WRC list for Sweden after that
The Spyder is the lightweight track day version of the Boxster
I happened to have one of the Hot Wheels Fiestas next to me, so I figured I’d measure it and run the numbers for the hell of it. I miss the days when they’d put the scale on the bottom of the car
It’s actually 1:65 scale (or 1:64.967 to be exact). The full size Fiesta is 3963 mm, and the model is 61 mm.
Nope
Not black, void. The absence of everything
I’m just here for the wrecking ball memes
Haha, I saw that this morning. So good
Competing in the Loeb era definitely made it tough. The bigger misfortune though was the one nose heavy landing in Wales in 2009 that dropped Mikko from first to second in the rally, costing him the title in the process.
Agreed. I’m still bummed Mikko never won a title. Talk about your lack of luck
Two runner up finishes, and one of them would have been a win if not for a flat on the penultimate stage

That deal has pretty much completely fallen apart. Too much money, even for Qatar
Development year, and from what I’ve heard the car needs work to be competitive (chassis currently too soft). Probably won’t be competitive until 2018, or at least the final third of next year
Hyundai has the best full roster to be sure, and I suspect the best car, though we’ll have to see just how close the Ford, Hyundai, and Citroen really are. My guess is Hyundai wins at least four rallies and the manufacturer’s title. I predict they’ll win at least four events and the manufacturer’s title. Driver title…

I take it back, looks like they no longer need to use the production block. The R5 car though, despite looking nearly as mad as the WRC car, does use the production block, heads, alternator, and a number of other off the shelf parts thanks to the FIA’s 200,000€ price cap for the class.
