Once you sign the paper and leave the lot it’s your problem. Get over it, you should have known 50 grand for an 87 thunderbird that was 4 colors and had more rattles than a babys’r’us was a bad deal.

they should have a weight minimum, displacement restriction, let them run as much hp as they want.. let reliability play to it

If there had been bureaucratic nonsense like this in the 60s we never would have even had the original GT40 story:

“we are down on power”

I worked in car sales at one point. A few, a decent percentage, are legit car guys and can talk shop with the best of them. Some are pure salesmen and can convince you without actually knowing anything about the product. They talk in vague terms and know the bare minimum to pass the tests. The rest are somewhere in

“Why the fuck would he put an exhaust on a lease?”

Except for this guy; who experienced a world of oversteer.

The Solara is the Miata of Camrys

Were gonna build a straight road, and the drifters are gonna pay for it.

Before you rant, be sure your facts are correct.

Then those people will be breaking the law and can be prosecuted. Lots of other features on cars offer the opportunity to break the law. Should they be banned as well?

The Hoon Law sounds like it was lifted right out of the old Reefer Madness documentary. Push that button, your car instantly goes sideways and next thing you know you’ve got girls wearing short skirts and promiscuity is on the loose.

They also stole our (Carfection’s) video to create their fear-mongering b-roll.

Seriously tell me you never saw Blue Thunder?

Probably the observer and not the pilot.
Pilot flies, the observer does the observing and monitoring of the camera gear and such.

This makes me really sad that we’ll never get a proper S660 here :(

This is definitely crazy. But for balls-out institution-worthy crazy I present side cars on Isle of Man:

I can’t tell you how many times I saw someone confusing this footage from a video game for a real bike on facebook.
