My dad traded his ‘69 Chevelle SS for a ‘73 GT wagon when the gas crisis hit.  I never forgave him for that.  That damn Vega was practically a 2-stroke.  I remember there being a case of oil in the back cargo area and most every fill up dad would have to get one out of the back...
