I too am familiar with this series of events. Mine billed out at $3400 and change last time I looked. I keep telling myself this is where I’m gonna get over on the man - when I need these things often enough it more than covers the $1200/mo I pay for coverage for my wife and I.

The death spiral for Mitsubishi has been SO much longer than a lot of us expected.  I figured the pandemic would finish them off but they are still limping along due to fleets/rentals.  Once those sales channels dry up - that’s gotta be it.
