They have copyright, what they don’t have is the trademark. Seems pedantic but it is a meaningful distinction

My guy if a game is jumping between even just 20 and 30 fps, you can fucking see it. It’s not pleasant.
You make it painfully obvious that you have no idea how framerate works.
So - just bear with me now - what if I told you you could actually tell when your framerate drops without actually having to monitor the exact number? What if I also told you that it can be highly distracting when that happens?
I feel like needing 120 fps is ridiculous, personally (ditto for needing ultra high…
Yeah. The dust. That’s the problem with a game engine that’s older than most of the commenters here.
Not a single Bethesda game has launched in a way that doesn’t chug on PC.
Yea Sony can’t cry foul because Microsoft decided to counter their bribery by buying the whole company. Sony loves to start fights but when it comes to actually finishing those fights they are about as useful as Logan Paul.
lol
You are right in one respect. Business monopolies aren’t like the board game.
They are much, much worse.
Skinamarink is very frightening for people who are scared of their hallways when they go to the bathroom in the night. Otherwise, it’s two hours of staring at a wall.
Skinamarink is such a strange experiment. The audience I saw it with (a packed house) was openly laughing and mocking the film halfway through; I couldn’t tell if I was watching a practical joke or an art piece, but either way, endless blurry shots of corners and wainscoting weren’t remotely scary. I got what it was…
Is he under arrest? Is he being kicked out of the country? No? Then I don’t see how his 1A rights are being infringed. He can say whatever he wants. He’s not free of the PUBLIC, (not governmental; that’s key here), response to that opinion.
Of course he is. And we are free to call his opinion shit and to call your breathless defense of someone who wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire a sad display by a pathetic simp.
I am sick of upending everything in my life “to save the planet” when these changes amount to nothing. Until large corporations, who are doing 90% of the damage start taking action this is all pointless.
My WFH days are when I get the most work done. This week is one of my busiest weeks of the year, my boss told me to stay home so I can get more done. Trust your workers, Elon. If you can't trust them from home, either they have deeper issues, or you do.
“Sorry” and “I’m disappointed in myself” don’t cut it in my opinion.
Oh my god. The Outwaters and Skinamarink are trash. Both those movies are overhyped nonsense. If I had to pick one to watch again, it would be Skinamarink. The Outwaters is easily one of the wort horror movies I’ve seen all year. I can’t believe it made this list except for the fact that it is a horror movie so…
Seriously, could you spoil a bit less in the headline and its photo? I’ve just woken up (in Denmark) and thought I could come here and read some game-related news safely. I was supposed to watch the episode tonight, but I guess even 24 hours of spoiler-free content is too much to ask for.
Most businesses I know rely on having a good network-level firewall, and just use centrally managed endpoint protection (with very lightweight client apps on the endpoints) as a last-ditch tool. Prevention is better than a cure, especially in a business context. I haven’t seen a full-size antivirus app in years.
