I strongly urge anyone who has an objection to this game existing to report it on Steam using the flag icon to the right of the “About This Game” section (just above the metacritic score, and just below the developer and publisher details).
It’s a lot of fun. Contextually it might help to be aware that its physics engine was groundbreaking at the time and so it really emphasizes it. Those sections are pretty mundane now but that’s because it’s much more mainstream tech since it released.
Well that’s a shame. I use a full-auto mod for bowguns in Monster Hunter: Rise, because having to spam the fire button 100 times per hunt means my wrists absolutely kill me at the end of a short play session. Given they’re only going to update MH World and Rise to remove any crossovers that have expired licensing, I…
I’m just so surprised at it being a month already, with no news from NVidia about targeted fixes and no optimization from Bethesda. I’m above the “recommended” specs and I can get a shaky 50 FPS on absolute lowest settings, or medium-high if I cap to 30 FPS. Not only did they lie about the specs sheet but Todd Howard…
Wow, really interesting, but I’d rather have third-party apps back. Amazing that a solo developer makes the official Reddit app look like it was made by kindergartners.
“No one enjoys spending $400 on a new CPU, but we also spend $400 on a new console every six years”
Aside from Pete saying you can walk entire planets - lying for promotional purposes is not acceptable - literally nobody wants a walking simulation. Load up No Man’s Sky and time how long you enjoy walking in a complete circle around each planet. You probably won’t even know, because it all looks the same. Compare to…
I agree with you that this ruling is good, personally I think it’s great for PC/Xbox gamers. But between this hearing and the one in the EU, people are spending a lot of time and money debating whether or not it is a monopoly. And my hesitancy is that right now, Microsoft is really consumer-friendly. But down the…
I know I really shouldn’t be rooting for any big company monopolies, and I’m probably going to eat this, but I really am happy for this ruling. Microsoft’s been putting in a lot of work for console/PC parity and I’ve been enjoying simultaneous releases (with good ports) for their 1st-party games. And getting same-day…
No, I think they’re right. You need to take into account how much work and time you will need to put into selling these. A good portion of these may never be sold (which is why they’re still here a decade or more later). On top of that many of them have stickers on the cases or don’t have cases at all. Peripherals are…
What do you like about it?
Skinamarink is objectively not a good movie. It has the fakest “low-fi old footage” filter on it that loops every 10 seconds. It’s 2 hours of close-up footage of walls while children whisper to themselves. It has a unique plot that the filmmakers did not put any effort into explaining, and in fact they chose the worst…
Is this game meant to be obtuse? Spoilers for today’s puzzle.
“We need to protect the children at all costs*!!”
You’re getting flak but that’s literally the first thing I thought of.
OK, I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t fully played this game in a while...
In case anyone’s wondering what to duplicate - I’d recommend large Zonaite ore, large Zonai batteries, and giant brightbloom seeds. Names may be a little off since I’m at work currently.
Aww, I feel so bad for them. Guys, we can’t get mad at Acti-Blizzard, just look at how sad they are and how hard they tried to make it work. Really, we should believe them, they’ve told us nothing but the truth so far!
Somehow I feel like a failing score from an outlet I never heard of is a cry for attention more than it is valid criticism. Especially when their review itself is quite favorable of the game.
