I'm glad I read this article. I was still under the illusion that Microsoft was offering a decent anti-virus. When MSE first came out it was getting praise from MaximumPC so I went with it. I am disappointed that Microsoft has decided to back-pedal on its commitment to this product. Very disappointed.
