@RB26Skyline- hibernating bear: You're both not quite correct. The Queen does retain the power to effectively veto any government legislation to prevent it becoming law, but I don't believe she has ever done so.

@B-Sel; Curmudgeon in training: Except it's not always about easily quantifiable numbers, something US magazines are obsessed with. Especially when it comes to things like slalom times and g on the pad - just because the numbers are higher it doesn't automatically mean the car is better.

Say what you like about Senna, and there is plenty to be said, during that ride back to the pits he noted the position of every switch and setting in Mansell's cockpit.

@Barnaby Jones: Senna often said the only driver he truly feared was Mansell.

@Venivedivice: I think the lovely Rachel Butler would be inclined to disagree with you.

@anitesh.jaswal: Richard Branson was prepared to keep Concorde flying whatever the cost, even though he knew it would never make money. He thought it was just too important to ground.

@brovinski91: It's an RS3100, built and designed entirely by Ford Advanced Vehicle Operations (AVO) without any involvement from Cosworth whatsoever.

@The Notorious T E D: We've had American military personnel over here seducing our women with nylons and hamburgers and then impregnating them since WWII. Needless to say they are not all fighter jocks so the the amount of slightly more mundane American metal on our roads is not surprising.

@FriedPeeps: Jesus, you really are going to create some sort of flesh/computer frankenborg that will attain sentience and start creating allies.

@Lahjik: What about Festivus?

@LaziestManOnMars: Crikey. How many D cells does that thing consume an hour?

Surely HBO's seminal 'From the Earth to the moon' box set should be on this list too?

@plasticmouse: He clearly can't repel beauty of that magnitude.

@duurtlang: Hahahaha no Fiat 500 1.3 Diesel Multijet Lounge. In red with ivory interior trim. £13,995. And that car was a complete peach in every respect.

@WheatKing: Yep, they were in pretty short supply in Europe for the first year of production. Within a month or so of them going on sale if you ordered you were waiting until next years production.

This month's Car features a piece on this car. I'm pretty sure their journalist Georg Kacher would have been te first person outside Jaguar to drive it.

@BradMW: The track list is not bad - Suzuka, Laguna Seca, Turdburglerring, Monaco et al. But they have all been seen before. Where is Silverstone (as seen in Forza and it's a terrific circuit to drive), Spa, Watkins Glen, Zandvoort or any other number of classics? (I generally find real world circuits much better than
