@Hart88: Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full......

@Number_Six: If I am not mistaken, and I usually am, the Lightning was faster than the F104 in most speed/altitude benchmarks, the Starfighter only matching the Lightning in low level acceleration.

@Dodge2002: You can always rely on us British to bring a much needed touch of class to proceedings.

@jalopnikfan: I was referring specifically to the Tamburello, but I could have been grammatically more accurate. It was late, I was stuck in Dante's Seventh Circle and my medication was wearing off.

@fragMasterFlash: That sir, is the kind of forward thinking I doff my hat to. Well played, well played.

@Rust-MyEnemy: Other than scrubbing yourself clean of fauxhemian hippy and mud out of your underpants.

@stoke 2.0: The Imola circuit very nearly claimed the life of Gerhard Berger in 1989, when he went off and caught fire at the Tamburello. Sadly it would also claim the life of Ayrton Senna before it was modified.

@PushingJensonsButtons: Mike Hawthorn came a cropper on that well known widow maker, the A3 Guildford bypass.

Now playing

This is all I have to say on US style plates.

@BritIron: The RS3100 was an uber-expensive Dunton engineered special. The 3.0 was the daddy until the MkIII 2.8 injection arrived, sideways.

@Rupunzell: Believe it or not, the Twingo was never sold in the UK, surprising considering we British are arguably the car fashionistas of Europe (we buy more convertibles than anywhere else on the continent...).

No underneath fish-eye panning shot of an airliner?

@maximum_sarge: It's not up to the public to decide whether the police are armed are not. The officers themselves do not wish to be armed - they have been asked the question many, many times. They consider it important in gaining and keeping the public trust, a sensitive issue in many inner city areas.

@Roberto G.: There are no poor London Taxi drivers, trust me. And they don't expect a tip, probably because they know they are engaging in licensed robbery of the highway variety.

@maximum_sarge: Well, that is so ridiculously offensive it make my head spin.

@Oblivion Toad: That, sir, made me laugh so hard a bit of wee came out.

I'm not a huge Mercury fan, but Cougars are something else entirely. My favourite has always been Brooke Shields....

@Fodder650: The BTCC gets pretty lousy coverage over here now, it's hidden away on one of the free to air channels no one watches. I've caught a few race recently, and to be honest it's a shadow of what it used to be.
