In his statement he claims that these are limited edition cards featuring amazing art of his life and career. Then proceeds to have “art” of him as some quasi superman, a freakin astronaut, Rambo style paramilitary cowboy(?), etc.
AND releases them as NFT right when financial outlets report that the NFT market has lost…

why is it only seemingly visual artists getting hot and bothered by this stuff?

I have wanted a truly full, immersive Hogwarts-based game for over two decades now, and have literally dreamed about it in that time. It absolutely kills me that it’s finally coming out, and that I cannot in good conscience buy it and subsidize rowling’s bigotry.
