Well it’s not just the art. Characters from Hades were very well voice-acted and a good lot of them had incredible texts and interactions, as the articles explains.

One of my favorite things about Hades was how . . . gentle it was? With its storytelling. Most everyone is just doing their best. The big bad was just an emotionally disconnected dad, grieving his wife, and makin the choices he thinks are correct - even if they’re damaging.
I hope the second game keeps up that trend -…
Really when your story is about the Greece of antiquity and/or the myths therefrom if everybody doesn’t land in the mid-range of the Kinsey scale, something has gone wrong.
“Satanic children’s game D&D goes woke!”
I appreciate the major reduction in grind. For the first time, I was rotating through a group of a dozen Pokémon instead of just six. I was getting to try new ones, while still reliably using some of my earliest catches. It didn’t feel like a chore. In previous titles, if you cleared the trainers in an area, you were…
I bought the game at launch and have probably finished about half of the story and it’s always wild when I hear people talking about how broken it is. Like I don’t think anyone is lying but past some basics like the camera clipping through the wall or the framerate dropping, I’ve experienced almost nothing. No…
You didn't explore enough then, I found shortcuts, secrets, some of the more powerful TMs, and just a sheer abundance of supplies. I ran a full lap around the island’s outer rim last night and had a fun time. It is a speed runners dream. Now the graphical bugs are annoying, the Starfall street felt lacking, and the…
Beyond this, it simply says that, “Other select bug fixes have been made.” Given the patch is only 1GB, it can’t be an enormous number.
Mario is one of the top brands in the world, Nintendo is not about to allow Chris Pratt or anyone else to tank this movie. If Shigeru Miyamoto is okay with this, maybe we oughta actually, you know, watch the movie.
100% agreeing with you there. A full feature-length movie with Martinet’s voice as Mario would probably have me ready to punch some kids.
... and we don’t want that.
Seriously we need to stop this idea that Charles Martinet would be a good mario for 90 minutes. He does a fantastic job with the short quips and reaction lines but god if you hear him trying to do long form mario it is just grating and awful.
Nintendo once again showing that they have no idea how their community actually functions.
Elon musk hates parody accounts - meanwhile his own life is a goddam parody account. FFS
You’re assuming that Valve won’t release a new iteration of the Steam Deck with better hardware in that time, though. If Nintendo would just release something with better hardware that also has complete backwards compatibility with the current Switch, then a lot of the criticisms of the Switch would go away.
No, they changed it this gen to also include caught Pokemon, but it’s based on their starting level when you first caught them. So if your cap is 30, anything caught at level 31+ won’t listen until you get enough badges to increase your cap to above the starting level. Inversely, if you caught a Pokemon at level 5 and…
That worried me too, but i found that it was still really rare. As long as a mon was below my badge level when i caught them, they continued to listen to me even if they leveled too much. I had level 50 pokemon doing fine even with badges only effective up to level 30.
Does Game Freak even really do patch and updates to improve performances?
It’s got nothing to do with hardware and everything to do with the Gamefreak team being horrible at building a game engine. They’ve had performance issues for multiple games now, just none that were this severe.
