How about no, Scott. The state park across the street from my subdivision has three gyms. That’s not a business. Same for the riverfront area downtown. Some of them are simply statues and other landmarks.

All the gyms I’ve noticed nearby are either churches or monuments.

Ingress was never more than a proof of concept, that’s all it will be.

The thing is, no one really knew about Ingress or what it was. Everyone knows the pokemon game, the lore, the characters. Hell Nintendo’s stock has risen a ton since the launch. This game wont die like Ingress, and Niantic would have to be the dumbest company every to just leave it how it is and not update it at all.…

I’ll add that although I think this is rad (and adorable), what we really need is a mini-SNES, ideally one that lets you play/buy any SNES game. I’d pay good money for that.

If they told you precisely where they are wouldn’t that remove one of the primary elements of a game about finding things? Seriously, I haven’t played it but I assumed you’re not just guided from pokemon to pokemon.
