75mpg is definitely achievable for hybrids without them being little Kei cars, but I agree we need to make things reasonable.

It was their loophole, so they got stuck with lots of diesels. Just like our loophole stuck us with lots of SUVs.

if someone is in front of you and is turning, then you have to turn your blinker on to let the person behind you know what the person in front of you is doing.

Why is gas the only commodity where taxes are included in the comparison price?

I haven’t complained about gas prices once since I went to Europe in 2006.

I miss the day when Volvo just made really safe affordable cars.

You probably already know this, but look at a used Golf Sportwagen in a few years. I love mine, its fun to drive and tuner friendly.

“You can have a car in any colour you want, as long as it’s a profitable shade of CUV.”

Oh. Sad trombone.

The new Focus uses an 8 speed planetary automatic transmission, not the DCT of the previous 2.0L GDI.

I’ve known this for a while, but now that it’s official, I can finally sorta-publicly voice my displeasure. It’s not even that Ford is blind to gas prices - as others have correctly pointed out, SUVs and crossovers are plenty fuel-efficient these days. More than anything, though, it leaves us without entry-level

Ford just lost one of their own employees as a customer. That takes real effort.

So my next FoST is going to be a GTI.

Panel gaps is not the same as engine problems.

RE: Neutral: How many gears is enough?

But didn’t you hear?

That’s the realistic way to experience this. That’s a hotrod and hopefully it finds a buyer.

If i had that kind of money to blow on a car, I’d get an A6 Avant. But that right there is the problem, I don’t have that kind of money.

Give me a solid ST and I’m in for an upgrade. By solid I mean something as fun as my current ‘15 Focus ST but with a normal turning radius.
