Incredible. This is what the new Challenge should’ve looked like! Personally I love the idea of restomodding. A normal new car typically lacks character, and a normal old car typically lacks most things you would want as a daily driver, forcing most gearheads to have several cars to satisfy each need. But the

The extension of the status quo also would come as a blow for Musk, who funded Tesla to help create what he has called “a solar-electric economy.” He wants stricter zero-emissions standards that would boost demand for electric vehicles, including Tesla’s, and force other automakers to sell more of these models instead

When I sat in a Model S, I felt the seats particularly were not up to a car in its class.

“Expert” huh?

I’d suggest a Cadillac ELR. It’s definitely offbeat and rare, great for commuting and good for road trips. Virtually new ones are under 30 and the interior is nicer than the Volt.

This old man is angrier.

I understand that electric cars had this same problem with charging stations not too long ago

Glad I could help! Get that thing safe it’s too pretty.

Think I found it in Manhattan with NJ Plates. 2nd street between 1st ave and ave A. 8319179467 is my cell. I took these photos at 9:22 PM.

Ugh, that is a terrible old method of analysis. It is cheap and easy to produce Hydrogen from fossil fuels but there is no reason it cannot be produced beside and dam, nuclear plant, solar plant, wind far or the dozens of other carbon neutral sources.

In fact, this is a good point about EV in general. It’s like navigating the early waters of smart phones - many different app stores, many different perspectives, and additional knowledge you HAVE to have to be successful, which puts it out of reach for many “average” people. Joe-Blow doesn’t need to know anything

Millennial here. Can confirm: don’t have much money. But could have afforded an Ecoboost Mustang.

Bought a Focus ST instead because the Mustang is just too damn big. I would go for cheaper RWD but I’m not interested in driving an Abrams tank everywhere.

Some observations on the Tesla’s driving:

Yeah, if the car demands attention at the worst times possible, that’s pretty terrible. “Hey human, we’re about to die in this extremely computationally demanding situation that you have not been fully paying attention to involving a semi and unplowed roadways. Good luck!”

...many employers will see commute time as productive work time. Access your work accounts while on your way, check e-mails, make calls, and more or less add another hour to your work day.

Uh, excuse me....

“...Ford claims this will allow the 2WD truck to hit 25 mph on the highway.”

THIS WAS SO MUCH EASIER when you could just check your rearview for the distinctive Crown Vic headlights.

Toyota is definitely trying to make this a timeless design, much like the MKIV Supra. The front isn’t dated, but isn’t “futuristic”, there are hints of the 280Z in the overall shape, and it should look good to people in 20 years.

I hope it looks like this, and that it marks the end of Toyota’s plan to beat every model they make with an ugly stick. This render looks pretty damn cool.
