Demand on C8s will continue for at least another year.  There are fewer people with $65,000 to spend on a new sports car, but there are still enough of them to keep these moving at or near MSRP.  GM won’t be putting cash on the hood anytime soon.

You could not pull that trick right now. We barely started building them before the shutdown, and there are actual sold orders to fill. There is essentially zero supply. There will not be good deals on the C8 for a long time.

During the last recession my dad snapped up a fully loaded C6 Z51 package for 50K and 0% interest with no money down. I would pull the same hat trick on a new C8, if it weren’t for the two kids and substantially less income...

Trust me when I say that my Boxster will never be a preservation car. It’s getting some serious surgery right now. And I’ve already fitted it with overfenders so I could fit 305 section width rear tires.

I’m definitely more a “stochastic reliability” type. Between my spouse and I, there’s 2 cars, 2 pickups and 4 motorcycles. Odds are, at least one car and one bike works.
