Same - went from a NightHawk 750 to a Hawk GT and the smaller engine felt so much better because of the low end, even though it was way harsher. Now I have an FZ-07 and I love it, but something smoother is always appealing.

I try to tell people this when looking at 996s/Boxsters with the serviceable bearing - it’s a wear item. As in you don’t replace it then forget about it. You HAVE to keep replacing it, otherwise it’s a constant source of anxiety every time you turn on the car.

Totally agree - it was mostly self-serving for people in the business.  I’m sure Jerry had a great time, and the viewers enjoyed it too, but there were some really boring guests who really had nothing to talk about because they were either uncomfortable people or trying too desperately to sell their next routine.
