All of the points in this article are spot-in. I would say one thing, though, that I've learned over the past five years of having to lead teams to create a workplace where everyone adored the job and formed meaningful relationships with those they rubbed shoulders with—relationships that still last many years later

Half-life is a bit too weird/creepy/disgusting for my tastes (only got through the first few levels), but I have to say- the staying power of HL amazes me.

What's going on with the exhaust plume of the port engine? The angle of the exhaust seems unnaturally off, unless there's some kind of strange thrust-vectoring effect going on here.

Fair point, thanks for the clarification! I'm not Catholic so I definitely didn't understand that!

Everyone has completely misread the following sentence to think that the world is condemning Jordan's execution of the two convicted prisoners. The sentence was POORLY WORDED and refers to the execution of the Jordanian pilot, and everyone is getting their panties in a bunch for no reason:

I think you read the sentence the wrong way- the world wasn't reacting adversely to Jordan's executions. They were reacting to the IS video of killing the Jordanian pilot.

The sentence was unfortunately worded very poorly as to not make this clear.

One thing that this approach doesn't address is income verification using pay stubs for things like obtaining loans. Spreading out your income over regular intervals is great for encouraging savings and living within your means, however, so it's still an approach worth checking out for a lot of people.

As much as I love the military jargon-filled videos that defense contractors produce to advertise their products, I must admit- that first visualization video for the LRASM made me wish it lasted longer.

Comrade Putin, is that you?

Well, for me bookmarks are showing up in two ways:

It looks great, but the biggest letdown so far seems to be that there is no way to have it just use your existing bookmarks folder and the links stored within it instead of creating a brand new hierarchy of folders and links.

Love the B1. Sexiest bomber in the air, even after almost half a century of being around.

The video isn't fake, judging from a few analyses I've read about this footage, and considering the kind of stores that coalition aircraft have been carrying during their airstrikes on IS targets.

So to sum it all up, on one side we have Gilligan shooting an autocannon from the back of a truck, and on the other side we have a guy in a rolling office chair using a white science fair tri-fold presentation board as armor with a gun sticking out in the middle.

This conflict in Syria surprises me every single day.

Anyone know the name of the Imperial March remix used here? I can't find it for the life of me!

This video is hysterical in a way I'm having trouble describing...the absurdity of the mod, along with the Imperial March remix, plus the clip of Yoda using the Force before he dunks. Absolutely killing me.

This may be what gets me to buy sports games once and for all.

I actually read an interesting piece describing such a procurement move by NATO, well over a month ago- long before the French government announced that the delivery of the ships was going to be delayed.

You're right, Greenify did add some non-root support in one of the last few updates, but obviously it won't be as effective without full root permissions.

You're right that apps stay hibernated and push notifications don't always wake up an app- it depends on the push notification method for the app. For me, I have not

GREENIFY is the answer here.

Sure, you need to root your phone to use it. Sure, some people might not want to root. And that's fine. But for those that do, it's godsend, and your battery life will show the difference.

Same here! I don't have any kids but it is gut-wrenching to be watching a movie and be blindsided by something terrible.
