Yeah I thought the first 4 or 5 were really enjoyable. The scene in the first one (minor spoiler here) where Butler puts on the suit of armor to fight the troll was surprisingly badass. I don't have high hopes for the movie, but maybe they'll surprise me and pull it off.

It's going to be hard to really keep the spirit of the game alive in a movie. I hope there's a scene where the protagonist has too many weapons on them and spends five minutes deciding whether to discard the shotgun that sets people on fire or the sniper rifle that melts robots with acid. Fuck I love those games.
