Oh, boo hoo. Hopefully Musk has some $100 bills around to wipe his tears with.

Every time there’s any mention anywhere of “dark side of the moon” I immediately launch into song. The best part is that most of the people around me pick it up just as quickly.

So by creating this simplistic binary he is stating his belief that the rule of law, by his definition, is fascistic.

This is my take. Although I think it has less to do about loneliness rather than making sure everyone is fully aware of his own self-aggrandized ego.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of that demand portion of the comment either. But  I’m too exhausted by the administration to have much energy left to tone police or even snark about it. In a way, the comment makes the post almost endearing, in that it feels to me like Amy’s all up in her feels about it and just venting while

I’m okay if celebrities use social media to challenge Ivanka on her efforts to position herself as The Gentler Side of Trump, aka The Trump Whisperer. Because that’s a lie just as much as anything that comes out of Orange Juliuss piehole and it’s good it’s not going unnoticed or unchallenged. Good for Amy.

IOKIYAR.

Someone on another article also mentioned the higher value Speaker pension only kicks in after 3 years. If he’d quit in April, he wouldn’t have gotten it. Now he can bail and still get that sweet, sweet pension.

I just started playing and I want this like burning.

Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug.

Huh. I was just thinking “I’ll probably end up looking a lot like this when I get older.” Given my genetics I’m going to be rocking serious old ladyjowls and body shape. I can only hope to look as good as she does when I’m that age.

Counterpoint: who’s to say they’re not? It’s just a different imaginary sky creature.

Good point. It is a bit different. Said another way, however, with the details we were given I would instead ask why the child is responding to a robot differently than literally everyone else in her life (according to the people in her life), with the explanation that “only the robot can tolerate her truth.” If

Splinter has an article up about it.

That’s fair, although I was absolutely writing for an audience I hoped would be there someday even though most of me knew they wouldn’t be. I just wanted someone, anyone, to really hear me.

...she may grow up believing that only an object can tolerate her truth.

It was one of these articles about the NEXT update and the Steam sale that got me jumping on the boat this Saturday, too. I was a bit hesitant when it came out, because while I’m a resource/repetition game player by choice (Rune Factory 4 is my JAM) the reviews really seemed mixed.

Agreed. I wholeheartedly love the book (unabridged, as the abridged version I made the mistake of investigating STARTS at the Chateau d’Ilf; um, WHAT).
