I was going to say, that sounds a lot like drowning. Or suffocating.

Came to snark about clothing that looks like someone let loose five year olds with fabric pens (oh my god, what even is that), stayed for the really excellent segments about the complex emotional relationship to a home state.

Not exactly.

What are you trying to be so clever about here?

I didn’t even get to the second paragraph because I was so distracted by that hot mess Kylie is wearing. What is up with that literal box flap in the back of the dress and that big honking zipper tab hanging out? Oh honey, no.

Thank you, Professor Dauber.

What’s your definition of a curve, exactly? What it looks like you’re doing here is comparing WW on its own with everything Marvel has done while ignoring every other DC movie made. WW isn’t a Marvel movie.

Yes, they can. That isn’t what happened here. By requesting your records, you’re asking for a copy of them. The actual records remain there at the Dr’s office.

Oh, definitely. He’s a quack who clearly doesn’t feel the need to comply with HIPAA regulations (you don’t disclose what medications your patients are on without appropriate permission). I hope he loses his job and his license over it, and part of that is lingering resentment for giving Orange Mango a big rubber stamp

I feel a little sorry for him. Dude trusted someone unworthy of that trust, and it backfired on him bigly.

Take your damn star.

The cancer.org website is fantastic, thanks for linking! I never knew about acrylamide.

Counterpoint: The ugly times have been upon us since Nov. 8, 2016.

So....basically a really long, torturous, terribad version of “what about the menz”? Super!

“Let’s give teachers guns! This is a great idea, what could possibly go wrong?!”

Came to the comments to post exactly this. I laughed out loud at the “driving fast” concept, because good luck if you’re making more than 30 mph on those “iconic winding” parts since rush hour basically lasts the entire day now and we’ve got only the one (1) highway that goes anywhere near downtown unless Bellevue is

Part of my brain says this should be way over the top somehow, or one of those situations where the dress wears the person instead of the other way around, but she owns this look and just nails it.

That’s precisely what I’m struggling with, as well. It was a decade ago. By the lens we’re viewing with now, the method of handling the situation wasn’t enough, but....it was a decade ago.

I’m conflicted right now between “oh my god something should have been done, I’m incredibly disappointed and this is not okay” and “oh my god, really, yet another log for the Let’s Burn Hillary pyre? Greaaaaat. This coming tsunami of unhinged virulent frothing is going to be just super fantastic fun.”

In reading the comments, I’m struck by how many assume the child is being rude or contrarian when they provide a non- or inadequate answer to this kind of question to a parent.
