the boats were designed for the specific prevailing wind velocity present in the Bay, and their efficient design makes them inherently more succepable to high winds. unlike conventional monohull boats, catamaran boats have a tendency to flip if exposed to winds that are too high. as well, these catamarans have a

wait wait wait wait wait - sponsors have been pouring millions upon millions of dollars into NASCAR for DECADES, and only NOW are they starting to become suspect that it's all a big fake soap opera?!?!?!?!?

Easily the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

i was gonna mention the whole "I-66 + US 50 + GW Parkway + I395 + US 1" clusterfuck surrounding Arlington Nat'l Cemetary and The Pentagon down in the DC area...but I fear that may be beat out by the whole "I-695 + Anacostia Parkway/295 going East" shitblizzard - nothing like having to get off a perfectly safe freeway

mathematical analysis indicates that the best state would be Wyoming because it has amongst the lowest population density of any state. given the universal constant that people are assholes, simple deduction would lead you to believe that the state with the least relative number of people-assholes would invariably be

ironically, it sounds like something that someone else already did earlier but on steroids.

power to weight ratio of my old S2k AP2 in my driveway: 165.5 hp/ton

SOOOO....a government agency, who has been required by law for upwards of 20 years now to be able to create financial statements that can be audited...and has failed. each. and. every. time. it. has. tried....cannot keep track of how it uses a few dozen cars and wastes $7.2mm over a 6 year period?

there is a special place in hell reserved for those of us who played the General Lee's "Dixie" horn sound in our heads the second time we saw that loop...

Pontiac Grand Am SE.

its long enough as it is - any good cruise day takes upwards of 3 hours to make it from ferndale up to pontiac. also, one of the draws to the cruise is checking out some of the club corrals in ferndale, or in royal oak near beaumont, or birmingham, or downtown pontiac. i just don't see any of those big corrals

Kinda sucks - always loved the B1-B. My old man used to work for Rockwell back before they blew themselves to pieces, and I used to take summer trips with him when he'd travel to Palmdale and they'd always be flying them in and out of Edwards. They were just mean looking birds of prey and just all-around badass

you don't "order" online. all you do it pick out the stuff you want on it, and that stuff is generally transmitted to the nearest dealer, who will then contact you and attempt to upsell you on just about everything under the sun - including whatever fees (like markup) that the dealer thinks you should have to pay for

seems fair to me, considering that its a completely voluntary penalty to start with.

$2k for a gritty hoonwagon? i'll take two.

i loved my '04 6M. the stock BFGoodrich tires seemed really hard, which made it a blast to hoon around in despite it weighing as much as an Abrams tank. had they made/imported/facaded a new version to the US, i most definitely would have got another one. it was a very simple car, and it struck me how well it was

that should be standard equipment on most vehicles sold these days...
