Some lady at my office had one of these and the first time I saw it, I thought she had been in an accident and lost the clear plastic over the headlight.

LMAO!
Agreed. I was in the back, passenger seat of my friend’s S70 when he flipped it/rolled it (or so I was told). The roof next to me was a good 6in+ lower. Walked away from that where as I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. I’m sure it’s just random chance, but still!
Probably not who I’m thinking of then. There’s a local group that does quarterly drives and one of the organizers is female and has a S2000. Doesn’t sound like her or the group. Probably was just a S2000 group.
Here’s a story of me being dumb. Sometime last year, I had just come back from a group drive in my E46 M3 when I noticed a new S3 following close behind me. We were on the main two lane each way, divided, 50 MPH road that leads to my subdivision. We got next to each other and had a run at it. Just as we passed a side…
Was the S2000 with the woman driver yellow?
I have an E46 M3 that I bought used in ‘08 or so that I’ve occasionally driven once a week for the past few years. I’m lucky enough to have the space for it and don’t really need the money out of it (although it would help with an upcoming house purchase), but everyone tells me I should just sell it and my daily (‘13…
Is this like Enlighten? BMW ConnectedDrive has had that for a few years, but I think you can use it standalone too.
“although the screen would stick and reboot once a week like clockwork”
To be fair, most of the BMWs I see here in LA are 5 series. If you don’t count all of the white 328 lease specials.
Thanks for that. I’ve seen a few of those around and while they look nice, I don’t find them looking as good as the concept. They look, for lack of a better word, cheap.
The lady who was temporarily delivering mail to our office had her USPS LLV break down so she used her Toyota Sequoia to deliver. I was kind of confused when she pulled up.
I was trying to figure out which interchange that was (in La La Land)!
People do say “The PCH”! The worst kind of people.
Drives me f’ing crazy when people say “THE PCH”. It’s PCH.
818 4 Lyfe. ;-)
Would you say take Topanga or take SR-27? I think that’s a comparable example.
It’s actually handy when you have those exits with multiple sub exits (like Wilshire from the 405). You get the A, B (and sometimes C!) and you know which one you need.
