It's DWP, not DPW. Department of Water and Power.

Ah! I actually saw this thing on the road the other day in Calabasas, CA. Couldn't believe it. I have a picture if, for some reason, someone wants it.

Here in California we can call #SMOG from a cell phone and report things like this. I did have this happen to me once in my M3 a few years back, thought it was kind of funny.

My M3 decided to do this and then ended up just blowing hot air. In the middle of a Los Angeles summer. Not fun.

One of these drove by me in Malibu (they were doing some testing) and it certainly did not sound like any Prius I've heard!

I work in IT and let everyone know that I wouldn't be in the next day because I was having windows installed. The words had no sooner left my mouth before I got the "you can't install windows on your own?" line and also "what version?".

If that's an Audi, I was told it turns off the tilt sensor. I guess it's used for when having your car towed, but I don't remember hitting it the multiple times I had my Audi towed.

Having JUST watched this; he did have a "permit". It was in his wallet.

I have a friend who knows him. She told me about it before it was posted by TMZ. For whatever that is worth.

You just made my friggin' year! Thank you!

You just made my friggin' year. Thank you.

I think they used to have these at the LA Auto Show back in the day. I remember something about a PSV (Personal Security Vehicle).

I've seen one in the last year or so.

In response to #1, I was helping a friend find her car in a parking lot. When I asked her what kind of car she drove, she responded with "a Honda Avalon".

I'm very appreciative that this isn't the trend here. I believe Lexus of Glendale does it and the Ford dealer (Mossy Ford) where I bought my Edge did as well. Luckily they used cheap double sided tape and it came right off. Oh and don't forget CarMax.

I did not see that movie, but I don't think I can take it seriously after seeing Kenan landing the plane.

Didn't he have a TV show on MTV for a bit?

I routinely see a Dodge Charger with CA Exempt plates while on my way to work. He's usually going much faster than the speed limit, let alone traffic. I've had him peel out from a red light while next to me to get in front of me (sounds like a speed contest and exhibition of speed). Seems that certain people are

You mean like this.
