I dont even understand why he says hes a "life long Democrat." Is it like living in Philly and being a Cowboy fan because your daddy was? Like nothing this guy says is even remotely related to the left of the spectrum.

To be fair, that detail does seem so in the nose jmthat it could only be borne of the pre-credits scene of a Law and Order SVU episode. On the other hand, the kind of asshole who would act that way very likely talks like a pretentious movie script, so I buy it.
You like her less than the woman who has the vehemently homophobic past?
Truly confounded by all the Franken backlash I see posted about her. I see lots of comments along the lines of “we need Franken back he was a great senator and leader!! Fuck her for doing that to him!!”
Or a certain former first lady
UH CHECK YOUR 401K LINTURD ALSO LIKE 30 BUCKS A WEEK MORE IN YOURE PAYCHECK AMERICA IS GREAT AGAIN KEEP IT GREAT AGAIN
Whats the most embarrassing thing you ever posted to social media?
This is a tough one. Buzzcocks were one of those bands that just clicked with me the right way and have been one of my favorites over half my life.
You cant “disagree” with someone who is espousing something that cannot be believed. You cannot deny climate change's existence or impact any more than you can deny that the sky is blue or water is wet.
Singles was prime 90s mixtape-era soundtrack.
Cocktail was the first soundtrack I got, when I was 5. I was obsessed with The Beach Boys and had several volumes of greatest hits, but Kokomo was too new to be included on any of those and the only place my parents could find it was that fucking soundtrack.
The first soundtrack I ever LOVED would have to be Wayne’s World, because I adored 90s SNL and Mike Myers and Dana Carvey in particular, and after seeing the movie i decided Bohemian Rhapsody was the greatest song ever committed to tape.
I may be somewhat misremembering but on the DVD commentaries I believe they discussed how the name of the person who "wrote" the show was largely irrelevant and that person mostly just structured things, because the show was written as a team that everyone contributed to. I think tracking the showrunner makes more…
Yes, it is the re-branded Clear Channel, our once and future corporate radio overlords.
I mean, I listen every week and think it is worthy of praise... but WTF is most decidedly not a “comedy podcast” by any stretch of the imagination. It is an interview podcast that happens to be hosted by someone who is a comedian in other capacities.
Welp, that got me to toss 5 bucks to Ezra Nanes, the Democrat running against him.
Of course they do, because the opioid is only half the problem. There are very few people who just wake up one day and say GOTDAMN I WANNA GET HIGH FUCK YAAAAAOOO. It’s a desperation to stop feeling what they’re feeling, or to try to feel SOMETHING at all. Conservatives again want to point to personal responsibility…
Alcohol is woven into the fabric of many cultures who don’t have the abuse levels we do in the US. The regressive laws and regulations and puritanical need to bury heads in the sand and pretend our teenagers aren’t drinking contributes more than anything.
Right! People like Harvey Weinstein, Louis CK, Roseanne, Kevin Spacey, John Lasseter, Leon Weiseltier, Mario Batali, and that sloppy asshole film critic guy. Lives ruined by mere accusations!
Agh yes please with this. Isn’t this guy basically the homosexual version of Weinstein?
