To be fair, that detail does seem so in the nose jmthat it could only be borne of the pre-credits scene of a Law and Order SVU episode. On the other hand, the kind of asshole who would act that way very likely talks like a pretentious movie script, so I buy it.

This is a tough one. Buzzcocks were one of those bands that just clicked with me the right way and have been one of my favorites over half my life.

Cocktail was the first soundtrack I got, when I was 5. I was obsessed with The Beach Boys and had several volumes of greatest hits, but Kokomo was too new to be included on any of those and the only place my parents could find it was that fucking soundtrack. 

The first soundtrack I ever LOVED would have to be Wayne’s World, because I adored 90s SNL and Mike Myers and Dana Carvey in particular, and after seeing the movie i decided Bohemian Rhapsody was the greatest song ever committed to tape.

I may be somewhat misremembering but on the DVD commentaries I believe they discussed how the name of the person who "wrote" the show was largely irrelevant and that person mostly just structured things, because the show was written as a team that everyone contributed to.
