Whenever I see interesting pipes like that, I always think that it would look really cool if the hood were translucent and some strategic accent lighting were to be placed around the engine bay.  Probably wildly impractical, but it would look awesome and show off those complex mechanicals.

I was once warned that “flushable wipes will wreak havoc on your plumbing.”  I didn’t know if “your plumbing” meant my building’s plumbing system or if it was a euphemism for my own digestive system.  I did not care to find out and instead just decided to avoid the things.

Oh, I’m totally sold on the idea. I experienced it firsthand on a trip to Japan. Once I got over my surprise after pushing a button labeled in Japanese, I quickly learned what a great idea it was.

The one in the master bath is in its own little room apart from the sinks and the shower. So while I’m sure there’s a hot water line behind the wall, accessing it isn’t trivial.

I was worried that the water provided by my model would be too cold, as it’s not heated, but that hasn’t been a problem. Even in winter, it’s just cool, never frigid.
