My first car was a 94 Blazer with that 4.3L V6. It was a hand me down from my dad so when I finally got rid of it, it had 180K and the friends we sold it to drove it from STL to OKC and back that first weekend -in mid July. Said it ran like a champ. That 4.3 was absolutely solid.

When I lived in Chicago, they flew over my roofdeck low enough I could read US Navy on the bottom of the wings. Even a C-130 was flying below the roof lines of the most of the buildings along Lake Shore.

I moved from Missouri to Michigan last year. I hate country music and pretty much always have. Yet for the first three months I lived here, I listened to tons of it. It’s amazing how weird things like that can make you feel more at home. Now I’m back to hating it so it’s all good.
