Charges were dropped after Nicholson apologized to Blank and the two reached an undisclosed settlement, which included a reported $500,000 check from Nicholson.
I grew up in SW CO, and can confirm — Red Mountain can be scary in the winter. CDOT has lost several plow crews to avalanches on the pass.
Trying to teach my younger sister how to drive her new Civic Si, for which she had no prior experience to a) driving a manual, and b) driving a car…at all. Spoiler alert: it did not end well. There is a happy ending, in that she did eventually learn to drive it and didn’t even lay waste to the clutch.
Driding back to college (a four-hour trip) and hit a blizzard. This was on a remote little-traveled stretch of road, see maybe one car every few miles. Anyway, it was a white-out. I was driving a ‘76 Charger SE (400 big-block) with studded snows on the rear, and several bags of salt and several wheels in the trunk.
Not a car but I was “driving”. I was the pilot of a large military jet flying over the Atlantic Ocean and the windshield cracked right in front of me. I’ve never seen the cockpit empty of people so fast. We didn’t lose pressurization but I did wear an oxygen mask the rest of the flight. We ended up landing safely.
Then…
I ride bikes. Like a lot. I don’t see many car parts on the side of the road, but do you know what is the most common?
Hmm, this concept of offering what someone deserves instead of what they requested intrigues me. If he rejects a Lexus because it’s just a fancy Toyota and he can’t stand the idea of his family and their au pair sitting in something that close to being common, then I would fully agree that he deserves something that…
She’ll put the death in death wobble.
You should try Lafayette, LA, where the roads all follow the bayous. There are some roads where you will travel N, S, E, and W without ever turning.
Oh you better believe we brought it home to be sure it would fit. Our garage is two separate doors and it just squeaked in.
Tesla Model 3. I like the size, the price, the exterior styling, and could, I guess, live with the interior. I can afford it, and in 2 or 3 years will likely be looking for something electric. But the company owner is a deal breaking flaw for me (and especially my wife).
you mean the headlights coming right at you?
I was teaching my 5-year old daughter about crosswalks. Here we have a red person silhouette for stop and a white person silhouette for walk. I told her it was safe to walk after she looks both ways and sees the “little white man”.
No matter which direction I’m going, I always get a red light at the stoplight right by my place. It has an obnoxiously long cycle time as well, so sometimes it feels like I’d be better off going a different direction.
