Time to go ta cherch, enna?
You reminded me of the time I was driving a ‘12 GTI and a friend offered to let me try his old, first gen, non-turbo Boxter with Tiptronic shifting. Two days later I was still thinking about that Porsche.
I expected 50 or so people to have posted this dickish Cadillac ad. Ugh, I thank god I’m nothing like this douche.

a coworker told me an enlightening story about his neighbor. She wanted to reduce expenses so she traded in her Mercedes on a Kia. But because she was used to her Merc she got a higher end model with all the options, and when the paperwork was finally signed she owed more $ and was saving only 35 bucks/mo on her…
Exactly. I thought the same with Dr Laura...they may be talkin to someone, but they aint talkin to me!
My breaking point was when the three years I dropped my daughter off at school where each day had stop and go traffic on a steep hill.

The circular…
Plus a second set of tires takes up a good deal of garage space. Unless they don’t have a garage, then a second set of tires takes up a good deal of living room space

As a hotel bellman at a moderately high-end place I had the opportunity to park some pretty nice cars (we had no OFFICIAL valet, but sometimes we acted like it). The one that stands out is an old Rolls Royce, I think around a mid-1950's to 1960 vintage (Silver Cloud maybe?). I don’t remember too much other than it was…
FWIW, I’m in my mid 50's and taught both my mother and father to drive stick. Mom learned, Dad didn’t.
I keep wondering how many lift tickets they’d have to offer me to make this whole thing go away. Sadly, not too many in my case.
Please say you drove it wearing a beret.
