I had a Honda Insight (yes, I’m the one) and the stop/start didn’t work as advertised. Normally it didn’t bother me, but stop/start sort of traffic, where it was supposed to shut off and just leave that tiny little engine running, didn’t always happen. I think it kinda did sometimes, but I remember blipping the

I’ve always loved this car, yet in the decades since I was lusting for this car in the magazines I think I’ve become pragmatic enough to admire it for free in someone else’s garage. Not a true petrol-head, but I’m ok with that.

I’m old enough to remember when driving a Kia was telling the world you have bad credit. That said, they make some really nice cars these days.

I agree completely, except for the stickers or front license plates that just say “JESUS”. I want one on my car because I want them to know EXACTLY what I’m screaming at them

Big pickup trucks! we have small roads and REALLY small parking lots, yet everyone seems to think they’d be a great daily driver.

My boss once told me the PT Cruiser was the only car he would refuse to ride in. And then came the day we had to go to LA on a business trip...I’d travel first and he’d come a day later. At the car rental agency they asked if I’d like the Hyundai Sonata or the PT Cruiser. Hell yeah, the PT Cruiser if the boss is

As opposed to a real microbus that can’t get you cross country without adding 3 days fixing it. And another three because you’re driving 45mph

I’ve been in love with this car since it was new. That said, this one is a piece of shit.

I found a hammer in the door panel of my Audi Coupe. I bought the car used, so there’s no way of knowing if it’s an OEM hammer, but I can’t think of any sort of door fix a hammer might help with other than getting things unstuck whilst taking the whole door apart.

THIS is what I love about this site. When I first started coming here I was a little surprised that car enthusiasts would admit to the minivans, PT Cruisers, Saturns, etc they own, but that’s the magic...a car site where the best isn’t always the best.

I went to high school with a guy who drove one, a car-guy with resources. I was a car-guy, but with absolutely ZERO resources, other than my imagination. I remember thinking if I’d have been in his shoes I’d be driving a Triumph or MGB-GT. Thirty years later I would definitely choose the Karmann Ghia.

I didn’t want it until I saw the 6

If only Lincoln and Cadillac would have made pickups, we’d know exactly how this will go over.

And they’re fun to drive

I had a 2000 Volvo XC with a five cylinder motor. They gave it a small turbo, not to make it fast, just to give it enough hp to cope with the modern world. I think that’s the trouble with the Subaru 2.0...it’s just not quite enough, and needs a nudge.

I think its because the banks are closed

I WANT that car, contingent on an extended warranty

as a kid I would stare out the side window, imagining myself on a motocross bike hitting whatever terrain flew by. Huge jumps over rivers, horrible crashes into bridge abutments. But endless “extra lives”. Now...rule of thumb is DON’T LOOK AT THE ODOMETER. If you feel the urge to figure out how much travel is

Maybe the best thing it to hedge your bets by choosing a car now, one with a manual, and keeping it forever.

I’ve heard that using the proper octane will give you just enough better gas mileage that it offsets the cost. I totally believe this is BS, but it’s another variable to add to the bouillabaisse.
