Not a beetle, but an old type3 fastback. The stick had a little bend to it and it rotated, so instead of an “H” pattern it was more like a sideways “C” or 3/4ths of a circle going from first to third. Soon it will be my daughter’s turn to learn on a VW...this time my GTI. *breathing slowly*

I’ve always thought it was an Eagle Summit/Colt Vista because of how tall it was drawn. But then it never occurred to me to compare the dates.
