The downside is that the design you see would only work at a certain lattitude. You can't use it in other places.

The NFL paid for this. Not the Navy.

Totally dissed Boston City Hall.

@nateharr1: Isn't that called Farmville?

It's not that different from learning all the characters on Sesame Street. They're just a different set of funny shapes, bright colors, and names.

@Befitzero: All a matter of perspective...

Probably Israeli security playing with one of these:

@Inevergiveup: What has our civilization got to do with physics?

@dufus: Check out this website for a perfectly plausible explanation for what you're seeing.

@whereisscott: How about a hovering platform with a simple model rocket launcher....?

@Zinrai: We've figured out physics. And we know what the limits of our elements are.

@jayfrigginjones: Yup... you can cram that energy into that space, but what laws of physics keep it there?

@Hueynewton: Never once occurred to you that it might have simply been a model rocket launched from a floating platform?

@mmben: Nope.... just understand physics enough to know that you're not packing enough energy in a craft that small to move it between solar systems, have it enter our atmosphere (safely), hover around (resisting our gravity) and then have it sail out of our atmosphere, and make it home.

@goatsitter: Have you ever seen a remote control helicopter flying?

@MistaWondaBread: Not saying we're alone... just saying we weren't visited.

It's someone with a remote control flying toy covered in LEDs....

It won't work.

Totally dissed Saturn... my favorite planet.

I can see this being very useful for field reporters. Most especially sports reporters.
