I think what was kind of tough about season 3 was how small and intimate it was. Season 2 was so big, each episode could kill about 20 characters and you’d still have 200 left over. Even season 1 had a wealth of people.

The movie was ehhh but I thought his most sympathetic characters in Fargo tend to be female, especially in season 1 and 3.  I'm still thankful he made a star out of Allison Tolman. 

I liked the first two seasons of Fargo.

I don’t see any pattern that indicates to me this is part of a plan rather than just him being a power-mad, attention-hungry idiot who keeps getting lucky.
