A few links to provide stats for the discussion (not necessarily to rebut you or anyone else’s argument on violence against the trans population).

most of these things are already a non-issue in many restaurants. In all of the casual dining places I worked, we were trained to serve by seat number, regardless of who was sitting where. This made it much easier for food runners and/or managers to properly deliver food and/or drinks if the server was backed up

If you gave them your credit card that store/company/restaurant now has your name, credit card information, and the type of card. Would be decently easy to contact the credit card company and have them reach out to the parents.

Amen to that

Hey, some of us don’t care if we live or die.

Having worked for both local and Federal government agencies I can tell you that once you hit a public space, your ass is fair game. If you want to get yelled at, thanked, or just be bored to death answering people’s questions wear your work ID or shirt. I think it’s only fair our elected representatives, when they

Yeah, since I rarely post or look at notes I usuallydon’t feel any of the nasty stuff but my girlfriend has related some pretty bad stuff aimed at people she follows.

Love me some Outlaw Star but Spike manages cool way better than Gene. But yeah, I love Cowboy Bebop for the unconnected stories not the overarching plot.

Only your first opinion is wrong :)

When I used to go to Taco Bell fairly often (aka college) we would usually ask for separate checks since we were all poor and damn well not paying for each other’s food if we didn’t have too.

Subway isn’t great but I will say that they are cheap. I have yet to go to a Publix that doesn’t charge 3-5 dollars more for the same stuff I would get at Subway.

As someone who is trying to cut back on the amount of meat in my diet I often miss the both the texture and flavor of meat or even certain dishes that I am used to having with meat. That being said there are a lot of tasty veggie dishes to be had.

Based on my reading it sounds like the cop was employed as security there.

Speaking as an ex-Goodwill employee (Goodwill of North Georgia to be specific), we were not allowed to lock the door while a customer was inside even if it was past official closing. Not sure if that’s company or even location specific but different businesses have different rules on stuff like that.

My girlfriend loves Chick-fil-A to death, I’m fairly neutral on it (although I’ll take it over most fast food chicken sandwiches). Personally though, I think Zaxby’s chicken always tastes insanely salty to me. Adding a sauce just makes it worse. I’ll get a salad there (the buffalo chicken one is pretty decent) but

In this case as employees they do not have freedom of expression while on the job (at least not if they want to keep said job). Freedom of Speech generally only applies to preventing government censorship not private sector employers.

Hey, just wanted to say I appreciated you taking the time to write a fairly calm response. I know it can be difficult to do so in any place on the internet that has strong political leanings (whether Right or Left). I think a handful of the commentators below have decent responses if you can get past the stridency in

As someone who regularly got blasted on 190 proof Everclear in college, I and my nonexistent liver laugh heartily.

The pickup apps of Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A, and Pizza Hut/Dominos in my experience should be fairly safe for the nerves. The Chik-Fil-A around the corner from me actually pings you when the food is ready so that you don’t even have to step out of the car/into the building until it’s ready to be handed to you.

Yaaar me hearty, buying things you say.....
