I certainly would be :)
I certainly would be :)
A lot of people who are prone to thinking Friday the 13th actually is a day full of bad luck do (anecdotal)
Might be differences based on area but I remember the Blockbusters in Atlanta not being that conservative. Lot of 80's-90's gory Anime and plenty of soft core pornish stuff on the shelves. Can’t speak for the cuts though.
Pretty sure someone already replied to a similar comment up above but just to be clear, Bluegrass predates the Blues and is originally derived from Irish, Scottish, and English songs. Modern bluegrass is heavily influenced by black musicians as is almost every other modern American music genre.
After watching it a second time, I was wondering about this as well. I assume that the CIA as an organization were hunting for Vibranium and Klaue decided to make a quick buck off of that search. Either that or the CIA decided “Fuck it, those civilians are dead already, might as well get something out of it”. Wouldn’t…
I think T’Chaka wanted to hide the fact that he had committed fratricide and adding a random child to the family would have raised questions about whether or not N’Jobu had really just “disappeared” (although you think they would be wondering about that as well).
I don’t have a particular problem with the casting, just wanted to mention why some people might not see her as Asian. A) She probably would not identify herself as Asian nor would most Asians as far as I am aware, B) The Middle-East is such a big melting pot of people and cultures (especially near the…
Don’t care about the heroes journey (effective but over done) but I do think that having Kylo Ren actually win as a set up for the next trilogy would be very interesting actually. A star for you.
Wait.....wasn’t he always a dorky wannabe? I mean, if you just don’t like Kylo Ren, that’s fine but let’s not pretend he wasn’t a whiny Vader wannabe in TFA
The main difference between the Rebellion and the Resistance is that one was an organized group of freedom fighters battling an oppressive regime and one (until the use of Star Killer base) was essentially a politically deniable para-military group. Also fuck the whole idea of a light side and a dark side of the Force.
And oodles of “Star Wars” books, games, tv shows and comics that have very little to do with the Skywalkers. Star Wars is a universe, not a single story about a family’s fuck ups. This isn’t Arrested Development.
A lot of kids don’t even know their parents actual names until around that age. They’re just Mom and Dad. Not much of a stretch to believe some desert kid living in squalor would forget most of the details about parents she hasn’t seen in over a decade.
Another one hot off the presses: Snoke wasn’t an interesting or intimidating villain even in TFA. He’s just another bald bastard with a hard on for the dark side. Been there, done that. Didn’t really care where he came from other than being irritated that apparently every group of baddies has to have a force user in…
Hot take: Palapatine was a boring villain
I don’t understand the love for the Skywalker clan, Luke was imho the most boring part of the OT and Anakin was shite as a character (outside of the Clone Wars series). Vader was great as a villain (although my least favorite part of the OT was ROTJ and specifically his redemption. Felt weak).
I don’t think it would have occurred to Luke honestly. To deceitful. Plus I imagine dueling with any skill via the force would be extremely tiring.
