The main difference between the Rebellion and the Resistance is that one was an organized group of freedom fighters battling an oppressive regime and one (until the use of Star Killer base) was essentially a politically deniable para-military group. I don’t understand the love for the Skywalker clan, Luke was imho the most boring part of the OT and Anakin was shite as a character (outside of the Clone Wars series). Vader was great as a villain (although my least favorite part of the OT was ROTJ and specifically his redemption. Felt weak).
