I suppose, if you think race is really something of value. I personally don’t. I see all forms of racial supremacy as idiotic, and my own ethnic background (a mix of European, Asian, and Native American) as largely irrelevant to my identity. I choose my positions based on how I see the evidence, not on what race holds…
Heck yeah, I’m truly heartened to know the game deals with labor and class so openly. So many games limit their critiques of capitalism to “big corporation EVIL” and leave it at that. I get your frustration with the way it ignores racism & sexism, but I also kinda thing maybe it’s for the best that they limited their…
Face off against a good cavalcade deck and you'll wish you were being milled.
Really? These always feel like a free win.
There’s no more sadistic a pleasure then milling the crap out of some stranger you’ve never met before at a MTG game night at a nerd store.
Getting stuck is going to happen on any non-trivially complex geometry that, by game design, you’re not allowed to land on. This is usually accomplished by setting the friction coeff of the surface to 0 so that entities that land on that surface will slide off on any collision poly that isn’t perfectly horizontal (eg,…
I don’t understand why they don’t just make it historically accurate and solve both problems; adding various Muslim kingdoms from North Africa and the Near East along with Mongols would tick off all the race boxes AND represent historically accurate enemies that actually fought with European-style Knights.
“This is something to remember. The people at Gamefreak who are working on this game are spending months and years of their lives developing this new Pokemon adventure. It’s okay to be disappointed or even a bit upset about the National Dex news. But don’t attack, harass or insult the people making this game. That…
I found it to be depressing when I watched it back in the early aughts. I can’t watch it again for that reason. Also the fact that the story seems to unravel and disintegrate towards the end was extremely aggravating to me and it felt like whoever made it was taunting people that like giant robot anime.
He has plenty of reasonable policy proposals. His policies concerning making this country more democratic (e.g., granting statehood to PR, DC, abolishing electoral college) are more novel than the now tired grab bag of progressive policies that other candidates have endorsed. I think your real issue — being that you…
I wouldn’t dare to imagine what the Buttigieg coverage on this site would look like if he wasn’t gay.

Being from the Northeast, and not knowing what Pizza Ranch was coming into this article, I honestly expected this to be an article about midwesterners smothering their pizza in Hidden Valley.
I’ll try: it’s terrible quality, but it’s excellent quantity, and provides enough value for low-and-low-middle income families can have an enjoyable dining experience without worrying if they can afford rent/car payments. In that regard, they’re almost admirable in the service they are providing.
(Genuine question, no snark:) I grew up two towns from New Haven CT and when I was a kid I thought that every village had at least one passable pizza parlor.
I’ve read this twice and I’m still not entirely sure what the point of this rant is. That people prefer comfort food over new stuff? Well, sure. That’s been the case since TV began. (And I’ll always have a Law & Order on when I’m doing chores.) Netflix wants people to stay home and watch Netflix? Well, duh. It’s hard…
Former bartender and lifelong depressed person here: 1) you have no obligations here 2) If you think you can handle it, if you can have a quiet conversation with nobody overhearing, you should bring it up with him upon arrival (before he’s drunk) and as directly as possible.
Are we just going to sit here and pretend Yuengling hasn't reigned this coveted spot for decades?
