Being a former owner of a 911 and Cayman, am I the only one how wouldn’t mind a 2-door “saloon” from Porsche that has backseats with actual headroom? I know that’s the space the small BMWs fill, and that’s what I’m currently driving, but, man, it sucks that there isn’t a true 4-seat Porsche option that isn’t a CUV or

Agreed, although I think the same can be said about a lot of older German cars, particularly BMW.

Yeah, there’s a reason this has worked for so many decades. If you want a car to still look great and “classic” in the future, the simpler the lights, the better...or pop-ups.  :)

I’d probably agree, but the 1M...

I think the 325ti front looks awesome. There’s something about individual lights that age well vs. the big and complicated light assemblies that we have now.

The article implied it was a bag with multiple books, rather than simply one.

Yeah, I traded my Cayman for a 135i that I’m modding. The entire reason to consider these BMWs is the surprisingly usable rear seat. If that isn’t necessary, Porsche is the way to go.

I also have the 135i, and I’ve got much of the 1M suspension sitting at my house waiting to be installed next month. That should get me much of the way there. :)

FWIW, this is the little BMW Harris actually spent his own money on. E82 FTW:

Rather than painting a book bag green and lugging it into the air, I present a more elegant solution:

His name was Tyson, and his Toronado was also maroon. He ended up playing basketball at Xavier, back in the ‘90s.

Well, that should help level out the difference between men and women’s life expectancy a bit.

Man, I was about to post a Toronado, too. The star basketball player at my high school had one, which was a pretty big deal when most of us were lucky to score a Cavalier.

My son is only in first grade, but I notice that a lot of the older kids at school have these kinda bulky, rubber covered smartwatches that have simple abilities like calling and texting (to a designated list,) which makes sense to me.

I had one of these things as a musician in my 20s, because it could haul my gear.

Yep.  Hot take alert!  I’d rather drive through a cornfield backwards with a manual vs. wasting those beautiful Japanese roads in an auto.

We did the same a few years ago and picked the X3, because it was the only one that drove at least a bit sporty, outside of the Porsche SUVs. The Volvos felt pretty floaty in comparison.

Yeah, we’ve had two-door sedans for a long time:
