Too many snowstorms for a car? Are you literally a snowflake?

It’s like a pun intended car wreck at this point.  I can’t turn away.

Yeah, I’ve succumbed to looking at BMW of late, simply because the manuals are going away.  There are various ways of making shifter feel better.

Yeah, I meant the GT class in its entirety has become the middle ground. I’d rather just drive a bit smaller coupe with a manual for anything a GT is meant for, especially considering cars have grown so much, anyways.

Yeah, for me it’s the middle ground that’s hard to grasp, like with this LC (which I think is beautiful, btw.) Either give me a smallish fun car that is fun to drive to keep me engaged, or give me an electric appliance that maybe even self drives.

Sure they do. There are people into horology just as much as people around here are into engines. I personally took a few watchmaking courses, because it’s a wonderful art form, and, while certain watches may get a lot of attention, there are lots of under-the-radar watches that aren’t bought for show.

Of course I’m limiting my world. This is an enthusiast blog.

Sure they do. They make the time more easily accessible on the wrist, just like they initially did vs. the pocket watch a century ago. Whether it’s mechanical, quartz or “smart,” the wristwatch still has function today.

Yeah, that’s why I’m saying you don’t really like manuals, because you’re saying you have to “deal” with it. I like driving a manual so much that we rarely take my wife’s more comfortable, automatic cars anywhere when we’re riding together. Road trips, dinner, snowboarding trips, wherever, and she refuses to learn

For my six year old BMW 135i with adaptive headlights, a single replacement headlight unit costs $3K (thankfully covered under warranty!)

I can’t believe this doesn’t have more stars.

FWIW, that’s Reinhold Messner, perhaps the world’s greatest mountaineer.  No doubt he must be stoked to see this.

That’s not a big deal.  I’m sure mechanical watches will eventually go the way of the dodo, too, but there’ll be plenty out there to buy.

Racing cars is the main reason to buy a sports car auto. They’re now faster.  I’m talking about street cars.

As much as I like manuals, I don’t want to drive a manual GT car for the 5% where it might make sense.”

I would never buy a used one later without a manual transmission, so I guess I choose option A.

Wow. So we get a Supra without Toyota reliability, a relatively high price, two engines with the highest output only being 335hp, and no manual transmission.

no text, misread your second post.

Incel is coming.

You’re acting like this is an objective blog, but it’s not.  If I have to tell you that manuals are cool, than I apparently am the arbiter of cool.
